Who we are and what we do
Colorado Business Startups provides administrative document preparation and filing services: we prepare and submit business filings with the State of Colorado and the IRS based on the information you provide. We are not a law firm, we are not CPAs, and we are not a government agency. We do not give legal, tax, or financial advice; the full disclaimer at the bottom of every page is part of these terms.
Services and pricing
The services and their flat prices are listed on the Services page. Each order covers the specific filings named in the service you choose, prepared from the information you supply. Package prices include the Colorado state filing fees named on the Services page.
Payment
Payment is due before service begins. We accept debit and credit cards, CashApp, Zelle, bank transfer, and check. Card payments are processed by Stripe and confirmed instantly; manual methods are confirmed once the payment clears, and work begins after confirmation.
Refunds
Government filing fees, and any filing already submitted to the State of Colorado or the IRS, are non-refundable: once a filing is submitted to a government agency it cannot be reversed or withdrawn by us. Service fees for work that has not yet started may be refundable at our discretion; contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel, and we will tell you honestly what has and has not been done on your order.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide, and for reviewing your details before we submit filings on your behalf. Filings are prepared from what you give us, and you are responsible for the consequences of incorrect or incomplete information you supply, including any government fees needed to correct it.
Turnaround
Standard turnaround is 3 to 5 business days, and 24 hours with Rush Processing, in both cases measured from when we have your complete information and payment. Government processing times after submission are set by the state and the IRS and are outside our control.
Quote-required services
Some services are priced after a consultation rather than at checkout: Basic Logo, Website Design, and renewals whose government fees vary by state or local jurisdiction. For these, the order form records your interest, we agree on the final price with you, and nothing is charged for them until you approve the quote.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of a service is limited to the amount you paid us for that service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.
